How do I go from Carry Mode to Jacket Mode? +
Unroll the WeatherShield from Carry Mode and follow the jacket setup shown in our quick video above.
How do I roll the WeatherShield back into Carry Mode? +
The easiest method is shown in our Jacket → Carry Mode video. Once you see the roll sequence, it becomes much easier to repeat.
What are the different WeatherShield modes? +
The WeatherShield converts between Jacket Mode, full-length weather coverage and compact Carry Mode.
How do I choose Regular vs. Tall? +
Regular vs. Tall is primarily based on your height and the amount of full-length coverage you need.

Is the WeatherShield unisex? +
Yes. The WeatherShield is a unisex design. Use your body size and height together when choosing the best size and length.
How should I wash and care for my WeatherShield? +
Follow the care label sewn into your WeatherShield for the product-specific washing instructions.
Before storing it in compact Carry Mode for an extended period, make sure the jacket is fully dry.
Can I keep my WeatherShield in my vehicle? +
Carry Mode makes the WeatherShield easy to keep with you for sporting events, travel, outdoor activities or unexpected weather.
If it has been wet, let it dry completely before storing it packed for a long period.
What if my WeatherShield does not fit correctly? +
Contact us and we can help determine whether another size or Regular/Tall length would work better for you.

Sizing & Fit
What if I am between sizes? +
Fit depends on the product, your height, body size and the layers you plan to wear underneath it.
If you're between sizes, call us at 814-272-5422 or email info@iwomouterwear.com.
Should I size up for hunting layers? +
Your hunting suit should allow enough room for the layers you normally wear without becoming excessively loose.
Because the correct size depends on both height and body size, contact us if you're near the edge of a size range.

Hunting Suits
Which IWOM hunting suit is right for me? +
The HeatLoc Pro Extreme is our current flagship full-body insulated hunting suit. HeatLoc Pro models are the previous generation, while HeatLoc Lite uses 20% less insulation and is water resistant, not waterproof like the Pro and Pro Extreme.
How do I choose the correct hunting suit size? +
Use the size guide on the product page with your body weight and barefoot height to determine your best size. You should also account for the clothing layers you normally wear while hunting.
If you're unsure, contact us before ordering and we can help narrow down the best fit.
How warm is the HeatLoc Pro Extreme? +
The HeatLoc Pro Extreme is designed for cold-weather, stationary hunting and is our most insulated full-body hunting-suit option.
Comfort depends on wind, humidity, activity level, layers and individual cold tolerance.
What should I wear underneath my hunting suit? +
Wear the base and mid-layers that make sense for the conditions and your activity level. The IWOM becomes your outer insulated full-body layer once you're settled in.
Can I shoot while wearing an IWOM hunting suit? +
Yes, IWOM hunting suits are designed with sleeves to give the hunter access to their equipment without compromising their warmth and comfort.
Become familiar with the access and movement of your specific model before using it in the field.
How does the foot area work on the HeatLoc Pro Extreme? +
The bottom opens wide for easy access and provides insulated room for your feet and boots once you're inside the suit.
The smooth, durable interior in the lower area is designed to handle boots and can be wiped clean after the hunt if need be.
Do you make adaptive hunting suits for wheelchair users? +
Yes. IWOM offers adaptive full-length hunting options designed specifically for seated and wheelchair use.
